Careers
We build software that helps universities teach, learn, research and govern. If that matters to you, we would like to hear from you.
Open roles
Open roles will be listed on this page when they are available, with a full description, location and how to apply. There are no roles listed at the moment.
The work
Oxonia is one platform with many products, used by very different people: a Vice-Chancellor reading the weekly brief, an exams officer scanning booklets offline, a student following captions in Hausa, a secretary signing minutes. Building for all of them takes care.
- Product and design work that keeps screens simple for every role.
- Engineering that works on phones, on slow connections and offline.
- Ai enabled features that cite their sources and leave decisions to people.
- Support and onboarding for universities in many countries and time zones.
- Security and data protection work that universities can trust.
The kinds of people we look for
- People who have worked in or with universities, as staff, students or suppliers.
- People who write and speak plainly.
- People who care about getting details right, such as a mark, a minute or a fee.
- People who speak the languages our users speak, such as Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Arabic, French and Portuguese.
How we work
- We test with real users, starting with one department.
- We say what the platform does, and we do not overclaim.
- We write things down in plain English.
- We treat university data as if it were our own.
Fair recruitment
We welcome applications from everyone. We make reasonable adjustments to the application process for disabled candidates. We do not ask for fees from candidates, and we never offer jobs through messaging apps alone. If anyone asks you to pay to apply, it is not us.
What working here involves
Our customers are spread across many countries and time zones, so much of our work is written and shared. We spend time with universities, in person and online, to see how lecturers, students and staff really work. We expect everyone to follow our policies on data protection, anti-bribery and modern slavery, and to treat every user with respect.
