Questions universities ask.
What is Oxonia Academy?
One AI-enabled platform for the whole university, in four suites: Lead for leaders, Operate for administration, Teach for academics and Learn for students. Everyone signs in with one Oxonia Academy ID and works from shared, authorised records.
Can we buy the suites individually?
Yes. Buy one suite, combine several, or take all four. You can add a suite later; modules you have not bought stay locked. See Pricing or build your package.
How does Oxonia use AI?
AI drafts, summarises, answers and flags: briefings, minutes, feedback, tutoring and screening. Answers cite the records they come from, and AI use is logged for the university's administrators.
Does the AI approve decisions?
No. Anything that becomes an official record or decision, such as marks, minutes, policies, admissions shortlists and letters, stays a draft until a named person with the right role approves it.
Does it work with our existing LMS?
Yes. Oxonia connects to Moodle, Canvas and Blackboard through LTI 1.3, and people can sign in with the university's Microsoft, Google or SAML account. See LTI 1.3.
How is our data protected?
Each university's data is kept separate, access follows roles and permissions, two-factor sign-in is available, and approvals and AI runs are recorded in an audit trail. See the Trust centre and Data protection.
Can we import our existing data?
Yes. Staff, students, programmes and records can be imported from spreadsheets and existing systems, with a preview before anything is saved. See importing data.
How does onboarding work?
We agree the suites and scope, connect sign-in and your LMS, import your data, set roles, and train the first teams. Your university's administrators then manage access themselves.
Can students use Scribe and Tutor?
Yes. With Learn (and Teach), students follow lectures in Scribe and study with Tutor, an AI tutor that works from their own course and follows the university's AI-use rules.
