Oxonia Academy is part of Oxford City Academy for Education and Development. Oxford City Academy was established and registered in England in 2004 (registration number 05216710). Through its headquarters in Oxford, it has provided a wide range of educational services to institutions worldwide, and over the years it has built strong links with many institutions and agencies, both in the UK and overseas.

In response to unprecedented demand for quality professional training from institutions and individuals outside the UK, and in line with new developments in the higher education sector, its Board of Directors chose to focus mainly on Executive Professional Training and Consulting Services.

To deliver high-quality services, we benefit from the expertise of a group of senior consultants and advisors in higher education from other UK educational institutions and agencies. Universities can also join the Oxonia University Network through Oxford City Academy.

What we do

Oxonia Academy is a UK-based education software company. We build one platform for the whole university, sold as five suites:

• Oxonia Lead for leaders: see the whole university and decide with confidence.
• Oxonia Operate for administrators: run the university day to day.
• Oxonia Teach for lecturers: teach once and reach every student.
• Oxonia Learn for students: never miss a lecture and never study alone.
• Oxonia Discover for researchers: from idea to published impact.

Who we serve

We serve universities in the UK, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, the Gulf and Malaysia. Many of their students learn in a second language, study on a phone and pay fees with help from family or sponsors. Many of their staff mark by hand, run meetings on paper and report to demanding regulators. Oxonia is built for those conditions.

Why the name

Oxonia is an old name for Oxford. It reflects one idea we care about most: the Oxford-style tutorial, where a student talks through their own work with a tutor. Oxonia Tutor brings that to every student. Oxonia Academy is not part of, or endorsed by, the University of Oxford.
