This policy lists every cookie and browser storage item our website uses, explains which are essential, and lets you change your choice at any time.

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Websites can also use your browser's local storage and session storage. The UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the EU ePrivacy rules treat them the same way, so we call them all cookies here.
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary without asking. Anything else waits until you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time in cookie settings below.
2. Our approach
- No advertising cookies. We do not use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking.
- No analytics today. Our website does not run analytics. If we add analytics later, it will stay off unless you turn it on, and we will list it here first.
- No cookies before you choose, other than strictly necessary ones.
- Equal choice. Accept all and Reject non-essential are equally easy, and rejecting does not stop the site working.

Our website sets no other cookies or storage items. It does not set any cookies of its own over HTTP. The site assistant (Oxonia Ai chat) does not store anything on your device.
4. Other services our pages use
- Web fonts. Our pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, and the Noto Sans typefaces when you choose Arabic, Chinese, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Fulfulde or Kanuri. Your browser sends your IP address to Google's servers to fetch the font. Google Fonts does not set cookies. We are reviewing hosting the font ourselves.
- Site assistant. When you ask the Oxonia Ai chat a question, the text is sent to our AI service provider to write the answer. See the privacy notice and sub-processors.
- Links to other sites. Sites we link to, such as oxfordacademy.org.uk, have their own cookie policies.
5. Cookies in Oxonia products
When you sign in to Oxonia products through your university, on addresses such as id.oxonia.ai and scribe.oxonia.ai, the products use:

Products do not use advertising cookies. Single sign-on through your university's Microsoft, Google or SAML provider, and payments in Oxonia Wallet, may set that provider's own cookies on its pages.
Cookie settings
Choose which optional cookies you allow on this website. Strictly necessary items are always on, because the site needs them. Your choice is saved on this device for 12 months.
6. Browser controls, changes and contact
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block strictly necessary items, parts of the site and products may not work.
