What a demo is

A demo is a live online session with our team, for your university only. We show the suites and products that matter to you, using sample data, and answer your questions. There is no charge and no obligation.

What happens after you book

  1. We confirm. We reply to confirm your request and suggest times.
  2. A short call first, if useful. We ask about your university: number of students, which suites interest you, your learning platform and sign-in, and any deadlines such as an exam season.
  3. The demo. We show the products that fit, live. Bring the people who will use them and someone from IT.
  4. Your written summary. After the demo, we send a summary of what you saw, an indicative price from our published list and answers to any questions we took away.
  5. A quote, if you want one. We prepare a quote for the products and departments you choose, starting with one department if you prefer.
  6. Your decision. You decide whether to go further. No pressure either way.

Who to bring

  • For Teach and Learn: a head of department, a lecturer and a learning technologist.
  • For Lead: the Registrar, the secretary to Council or Senate, or the quality office.
  • For Operate: the exams office, registry or bursary.
  • For Discover: the research office and the librarian.
  • For any suite: someone from IT and, if you can, data protection.

What to have ready

  • Your approximate student numbers, since prices are set by band.
  • Your learning platform: Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard or another.
  • Your sign-in: Microsoft, Google, or SAML and Shibboleth.
  • Any requirement to keep data in your country. See Data residency.
  • Your questions for our security team. See the trust centre.
